  • Starlite

    Available from the 13th of July to the 26th of August in Marbella. Starlite is a music and culture festival celebrated every year in Marbella which both national and international artists attend.   • Un Paseo en el Tiempo (A Walk through Time)

    Available the 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th of August at Jardín Botánico de la Concepción. It is about a dramatized night-time visit to the botanical garden where the characters guide you while telling you about the history and legends of this beautiful place. You do not need to worry about parking as this place has two car parks available for the visitors.

  • La Historia Jamás Contada (The Untold Story)

    Available the 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th y 31st at Jardín Botánico de la Concepción. It is a dramatized visit to the botanical garden where you can see its magical side while visiting.

  • Malaga’s Fair

    Available from the 12th to the 19th of August at the fairgrounds and the city centre. Malaga’s Fair it starts the night between the 11th and 12th of August with fireworks on the beach. You can visit the daytime fair in the Real (fairgrounds) or in the city centre, where you can enjoy the gastronomy of the zone and the joy of the music and the stands, or you can go to the night-time fair in the fairgrounds, where you can enjoy the rides and the stands, in which you can see flamenco shows. In the daytime fair you will be able to use the car parks available next to the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos. Furthermore, at the Municipal Auditorium, next to the fairgrounds, there will be different shows: 12/08 Danza Invisible, 13/08 Bertín Osborne, 14/08 Erika Leiva and Antonio Cortés, 15/08 Café Quijano, 17/08 David Bustamante, 18/08 Soraya and 19/08 Camela.

  • Antequera’s Fair

    Available from the 16th to the 20th of August at the urban centre of Antequera in the mornings and Antequera’s fairgrounds in the evenings. In the mornings, the daytime fair offers gastronomic tastings and shows. The night-time fair, on the other hand, offers rides and a great atmosphere.

  • Full Moon Fest

    Available the 18th of August in Manilva. In this event you will find the township decorated with candles and torches. People come dressed in white, contributing to the general atmosphere. Furthermore, there will be fire juggling, acrobatics, shadow theatre and the most expected activity of the night, the release of lanterns and balloons to the night sky.

  • Three Cultures Fest

    Available from the 24th to the 27th of August in Frigiliana. This festival consists of a series of parades, puppets shows, workshops for both children and adults, performances, tapas route, handmade products market and concerts.

  • Scotch Conference

    Available from the 25th to the 27th of August in Teba. This conference is dedicated to recall the great deeds of Sir James Douglas. With this aim, Teba is filled with a medieval atmosphere with Celtic music, performances, street markets, activities and parades.


  • Moonlight

    Available from the 15th of June to the 7th of September in Antequera. It is about a series of night-time activities for all audiences including guided routes through the palaces, visits to the museums, concerts, astronomical observations at the Torcal or tours through archaeological remains. These activities are available in English, French and German in addition to Spanish.

  • Embrujo Andalusí

    Available from the 8th to the 10th of September in Carratraca. It is an ancient Andalusian festival that includes expositions, handicrafts, theatre, dances, storytelling, parades, medieval market and a stunning decoration consisting of 25.000 candles and torches.

  • Pasarela Larios Málaga Fashion Week

    Available the 15th and 16th of September in Málaga’s city centre. Going along Larios Street, this is the longest catwalk in Europe. This year these are the firms and designers participating: Sonia Peña, Mona Al Mansouri, Carla Ruiz, Protocolo, Vertize Gala, Ángel Palazuelos, Rafael Urquizar, Ivana Picallo, Gemma Melé, Antonia García Galiano, Juan Segovia for Perlas and Bombones, Jesús Segado, Dunnes Stores with the firms Savida, Lennon Courtney and Costelloe Casual Mens; Olimara, Dalal Alhasan, El Corte Inglés, Gloria Ortiz, Zendra, Yera, Tintoretto and Emidio Tucci Black; Carmiña Romero, Impecable Modas and La Gioconda Novias y Fiesta.

  • San Miguel Fair

    Available from the 27th of September to the 1st of October at Torremolinos’ fairgrounds. In this fair you can enjoy the local gastronomy, music and performances in the stands, in addition to the rides.

  • Michael’s Legacy

    Available from the 28th of September to the 1st of October in Alameda Theatre, Malaga. This show is praised as the best tribute to Michael Jackson nowadays.


  • Palau mira a Picasso

    Available from the 21st of June to the 8th of October at Picasso Museum in Malaga. It is an exhibition of photography and paintings about the friendship between the two artists. Some of these works were unknown until now.

  • Nights of the beautiful Jarifa

    Available from the 30th of September to the 2nd of October in Cartama. The streets of this township are decorated with candles. A medieval market is organized with more than 100 stands of handcrafted products, cheese, cold meat, sweets, etc. With all this, they recreate the adventures of two lovers: Abindarráez and Jarifa.

  • Nerja’s Fair

    Available from the 8th to the 12th of October at Nerja’s fairgrounds. It includes picturesque performances, floats, open-air dances and music shows.

  • Tapa Fest

    Available from the 14th to the 16th of October in Pizarra. It consists of a route through the bars and restaurants of Pizarra where they stamp a plan every time you eat a tapa. This will allow you to participate in a giveaway. Every establishment will offer a different cheap tapa along with a drink.


  • Tostón Fest

    Available the 1st of November in Marbella. It is a local tradition in which people roast chestnuts and prepare activities for children.

  • Christmas Lights

    Available by the end of the month in Malaga’s centre. There is a lights and music show for starting the Christmas lights of the township.


  • Christmas Fair

    Available from the 6th of December to the 5th of January in Puerto Marina. It has rides, nativity scenes, bouncy castles, table games, face-painting, clowns, giant air bubbles, children’s cinema, story-telling, magic and theatre.

  • Migas’ Fest

    Available the 17th of December in Torrox. Migas are given away to visitors and residents and there are picturesque and musical performances.


  • Three Kings’ Parade

    Available the 5th of January in Malaga’s centre. There is a parade with colourful floats and showy costumes and they give candy to children and performance. This procession concludes with the floats of the Three Kings.

  • San Antón’s Fest

    Available the 16th and 17th of January in Maro. They light campfires and launch fireworks while the visitors enjoy traditional gastronomic tastings from the zone.


  • Malaga’s Carnival

    Available from the 3rd to the 11th of February in the city centre. There is a great costume parade through the streets followed by a series of days when you can see people with costumes in the streets and shows and concerts in Plaza de la Constitución.

  • Nerja’s Carnival

    Available from the 8th to the 11th of February in Nerja. There are processions in which carnival groups participate and it all ends with the traditional ‘Entierro del Chanquete’.

  • Especial del Trabuco

    Available the 9th of February in Villanueva del Trabuco. It is a parade with costumes, charanga bands and troupes.

  • Polvos’ Fest

    Available the 27th of February in Tolox. This day the neighbours throw talc powders to each other until they are all covered.


  • Holy Week

    Available from the 25th of March to the 1st of April in the city centre. Malaga is filled with paces and Nazarenes from the diferent brotherhoods. Along their tours, they fill the streets with the smell of incense and they are welcomed with saetas and flower petals.

  • Seafood Fair

    Available by the end of the month in Puerto Marina. There is local seafood tasting.


  • Festival de Cine de Malaga

    Available from the 13th to the 22nd at Teatro Cervantes in Malaga. They exhibit the shorts and films nominated to the festival’s prize and the actors and actresses who appear in them, attend the event.

  • Feria Internacional de los Pueblos

    Available by the end of the month in Fuengirola. It is a fair where each stand is decorated like a different country, which is why you can taste the gastronomy of each country and watch typical cultural shows.


  • Cruces de Mayo Available by the beginning of May. It is celebrated a different day in every neighbourhood. There are awnings and they offer cheap food. There is also music and performances and they decorate a cross.


  • San Juan’s Eve The 23rd of June in the night. People go to the beach and make fire camps and barbecues. There is a concert in Malagueta Beach and there are fireworks.
  • San Juan’s Fair

    Available from the 24th to the 29th of June in Benalmadena. They are the local fests in Benalmadena. There are music, dance, performances and popular events.


  • Las Lagunas’ Fair

    They are celebrated by the beginning of July in Mijas. There are performances, contests, exhibitions, rides and stands. They make a tour with colourful wagons.
